8:50 Landing light switch. Seems a little counterintuitive. Up switch should retract the lights up into the airframe, and down switch should extend the lights down for visibility. I guess the logic is down is off, up is on.

Safer to fly commerical. Statistically, commercial aviation has a very low accident rate compared to private aviation. The number of flights and passengers carried by commercial airlines far exceeds those carried by private jets, yet the accident rate in commercial aviation remains significantly lower.

Do you let the people in the back know when you're going into clouds and possible turbulence? Setting up front where you can see what's going on is much different than setting in the back where you have no clue what's going on 🤔. I'm sure you do,just asking? 🙂

I'm new to Owen's channel. I love the different types of airplanes he is flying and how professional he is with all of them. Definetely would love to see the Bonanza too. As a 68 y/o PPL that will probably never get IFR rating, the world above FL 180 is fascinating to me.

Salve sono di Genova Italia,ricordo quando andavo in aeroporto a ritirare le turbine Pratt e whitney e strumentazione Rockwell e li portavo nello stabilimento Piaggio quando era ancora a Genova e Finale Ligure,ora questi stabilimenti storici sono stati chiusi e si sono trasferiti ad Albenga dove c'è un piccolo aeroporto ricordo che parlando con i tecnici mi dicevano che il Piaggio P180 Avanti era il più veloce al mondo nella sua categoria e anche quello con maggiore autonomia mi dicevano che partendo dal Portogallo poteva raggiungere tranquillamente gli USA.Quindi penso che in USA possa fare tranquillamente costa a costa.
